Happy New Year~ =^-^= ♥

DBSK and I wishes everyone a very Happy New Years ^^ I will forever remember 2008 as the year I got into k-pop, beginning in April when Wendi showed me Twins and Don’t Don from SJ and I fell instantly in love ^^ XDDD Admiration led to obsession, and before I know it, this blog was born ^-^ In 7 months, there has been 271 posts (272 now 😀 ), 828 comments, 46 categories, and 824 tags. We’ve had 235,957 pageviews and counting, and our busiest day was on Nov. 6th with 3,251 visits (o.o). I thank you all so very very much for your continuous support, visits, spazzing, and awesomeness in general <333 Here’s to a fabulous 2009 with even more news, music, and fangirling =^________^=

♥ 2008 SBS Gayo DaeJun- Wonder Boys 2 (Kissing You, Nobody)– I’VE BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!! and of course they don’t disappoint ^^ ‘Kissing You’ was sooo cute, with those felt lolly pops and cute moves XDD Omg…they did perform Nobody!! XDDD Did you see Wonder Girls’ expressions in the audience?? They were loving it, as was all the audiences XDDDD Sungmin can swing his hips better than any girl, and TAEMIN WAS SOOO CUTE!!!!!! =^o^=

I don’t think I can ever say this enough, but thank you all so much for your lovely comments and support and overall awesomeness in general XDD I hope everyone’s having a great Christmas filled with presents and food 😀 When I moved here a couple of days ago, my parents gave me an iHome as a coming home present, which I ADORE very very much ^^ They were wanting to give me $50 to spend as I want as my Xmas gift, but I don’t really like cash as a present, and I’ve already got the iHome so I wasn’t expecting anything, so instead of money I asked to go shopping for a laptop messenger tomorrow ^-^ My parents really never give anything for Christmas so I’m very happy and thankful for their presents this year. In gratitude and thanks for your visits and support, I come bearing presents ^-^Also! If there’s ANYTHING that you are looking for, or would like to request, let me know and I’ll see what I can dig up 😀 Oh, by the way, did you hear?

Idol group members from DBSK-Big Bang-Super Junior-SHINee Dance Battle on SBS Gayo Daejun.

The idols’ will be performing their own style of dance and make it a combined stage /collaberation stage on the coming 29th, from PM 9:55, on SBS Gayo Daejun.

On the day, Big Bang’s Seungri, DBSK’s U-know Yunho, Super Junior’s Eunhyuk, SHINee’s Taemin will be competing each other under the theme of dance battle.

Following that, Super Junior’s Shindong-Sungmin, Big Bang’s Seungri, 2AM’s Jo Kwon, SHINee’s Taemin will form Wonder Boys and has a surprise event under their sleeves.

They (Wonder Boys) received attention as they performed SNSD’s “Girls’ Generation” last September on SBS Ingigayo.

As well as that DBSK’s Xiah Junsu and Big Bang’s Taeyang will participate in a piano battle.

Other artists like Rain, Kim Jongkook, FTIsland, Jewellery, SNSD will be participating in the SBS Gayo Daejun which is hosted by Lee Hyoree + Lee Chunhee + Park Yejin.

2 of Kpop’s biggest names Big Bang and Dong Bang Shin Ki will have their first ever joint stage!

They will be performing together for SBS year-end concert ‘2008 SBS Gayo Festival’ set to take place on 29th December.

One of the staff for the concert announced on 24th December, “The 2 groups are preparing for a performance called ‘Star Wars’.”

It is also confirmed that Big Bang TaeYang and Dong Bang Shin Ki Xiah JunSu will also be having a showdown of musical composition.

“After the piano performance session, they will also have a song battle. Xiah JunSu is scheduled to perform first, followed by TaeYang.”

On the 23rd, Big Bang’s management company YG Entertainment announced that “Big Bang will continue its promotional activities for ‘Sunset Glow’ until the end of the year, at which point Seungri will begin his solo activities with ‘Strong Baby’ from the group’s second album,” adding that “through his solo activities, fans will be able to see a more provocative and mature Seungri that they’ve seen before, and not just Big Bang’s maknae.”

‘Strong Baby’ is a new pop-style dance song written by G-Dragon in collaboration with Bae Jillyeol, the composer of Bi’s ‘Rainism,’ and is Seungri’s first solo song in more than two years, following ‘The Next Day’ from Big Bang’s third single album, released in 2006.

As soon as his solo schedule was decided on in November, Seungri began preparing, creating the choreography for the song himself and working to sculpt his body through training and managed eating. Recently, he finished recording the music video along with G-Dragon.

YG says, “Seungri’s solo activities will follow upon G-Dragon’s producing, Taeyang’s solo album, Daesung’s trot single and TOP’s collaborations with Gumi and Uhm Jung Hwa in showing the musical abilities of the each individual member of the group,” adding that fans “can expect a particular level of preparedness from Seungri.”

Seungri’s first solo performance is scheduled to occur on SBS’s ‘Gayo Daejeon’ on the 29th.

Hello gorgeous @_@ Lmao, Yunho and Micky’s hair make me laugh sooo hard XDDD Aside from the…creative hairstyles, they all really look quite amazing, with the stylish outfits and everything ^^ Visit this link from spazzes for more pictures from DNBN. Yunho….damn you are hot @_@ XDDD Those underwear model pictures are to die for, I swear ^^;; I adore all the black and white solo portraits, really captures all of their facial features well, with amazing contrast 😀 I wish for more Junsu pictures ^-^

About amienguyen‘s pre-order, unfortunately she wasn’t able to get any of them as the magazine is sold out in Korea and there will be no re-prints ._. I am quite sad as I was looking forward to it so much, but it was very nice of her to try to get it for us, and we’ll just have to look forward to HQ scans ^^

I hope everyone’s having a great winter break. I apologize for the lack of updates from the past couple of days, I just moved yesterday to Bedford, MA, and is still trying to organize/unpack stuff ^^; I like it here, although it’s very cold, and snowed around 2 feet overnight =.= I guess I’m not driving anytime soon…. Wendi is currently in China with her family. Please send her happy thoughts as she is going through a somewhat difficult time right now.  Thank you for everyone’s patience and understanding. Oh, talking about Younha, I saw this BEAUTIFUL performance by her of “All I Want For Christmas is You”.
